Every jar starts the same way it always has in a kitchen, with a recipe that's older than any of us.

Ibu Kristina's began with one woman's hands: grinding chillies, balancing sweetness against heat, knowing by instinct not measurement when a sauce was ready. It was never written down. It didn't need to be. It was taught the way these things always are, by watching, tasting, and doing it again until it was right.

That recipe travelled from Indonesia to the UK in memory before it ever did in a jar. It's the flavour of home, of family tables, of celebrations and ordinary Tuesdays alike. And when we couldn't find anything here that came close, we knew what we had to do.

So we started making it ourselves. Small batches. The same balance of heat, sweetness, and depth that Ibu Kristina perfected over a lifetime. Nothing rushed, nothing shortcut.

Today, every bottle of Ibu Kristina's from Electric Honey to Blueberry Reaper, Scorched Pineapple to Mango Inferno carries that same recipe forward. Every cheese board jam, from Orchard Blaze to Jalapeño Jubilee, is built the same way: real ingredients, real patience, real heritage.

We're not chasing trends. We're keeping a promise from earth, to kitchen, to bottle.
